The Cigales lake is located in Le Muy and is easily accessible to all for a day’s fishing. The lake has abundant trout (except in July and August), and you can fish with your own equipment or rent a rod on site. Fishing is a fun activity. You can take the trout you have caught home and enjoy cooking and eating it. Around the lake, there are picnic tables for and a snack bar. In July and August, it's all change, with carp fishing. You fish for carp, as big as possible, for one of those iconic photos, and then you release your fish.
At Lac des Cigales, all novice and experienced anglers can practice this activity without a license, with family or friends, in a beautiful green setting, for a day or a half-day. The lake is easily accessible. It is only 20 km from Saint-Raphaël (one of the largest seaside resorts of the Var and the Côte d'Azur) and 4 km from Le Muy, near the A8 motorway (exit 36 "Le Muy - Saint- Tropez - Draguignan ").
In addition to the refreshment bar and the picnic tables, you will find on site a kennel to let your pets the time of your fishing party and a room to rent for your personal or professional events: weddings, birthdays, baptisms, departures retirement, hen and stag parties, cocktails, seminars, business lunches ... The "Les Cigales" room is air conditioned and has a capacity of 100 people (seats).
A trout or a carp bitten on the hook? Invite your friends or family to have a drink at the bar or in downtown Muy! The town has some beautiful buildings (parish church Saint-Joseph, Navarra villa, tower Charles V, ruins of the chapel Notre-Dame-de-la-Roquette) and a museum of the liberation which traces the arrival of the American paratroopers and British during the Second World War perceived by the Muyois.
