Opt for a trip to sea and to discover the islands of Var. Porquerolles, Port Cros and many others are only an hour from the coast (and sometimes even less far). This will be an opportunity to visit amazing buildings, such as Fort Sainte Agathe in Porquerolles. The company also offers day or half-day excursions in addition to its shuttles to the islands. Discover the underwater world...

Want to discover underwater life? Get on board one of these famous boats with a transparent bottom. There are several organizations that offer this fun activity in the Var. Opt for the Seascope of Golden Islands and Corsaire Stars for a seabed exploration near La Croix-Valmer. The Nemo in Saint-Raphael also offers this outing. For 50 minutes, board a giant clownfish. You will admire the flora and fauna of the sea. Visit this beautiful museum in Toulon. It's a very good idea to go out in the Var. The collections are well presented, the exploration is instructive for young and old alike. You can see many models of ships and galleys. A truly interesting visit for lovers of the sea, history and navigation.

The Nights Off of Frejus

During the summer season (mid-July to early August), here is an idea to go out in the Var that will please everyone! The performances offered during the Festival of Nuits Off in Frejus are numerous. Attend a play or magic show for a pleasant evening. You may be able to find a performance that will take place in the ancient Roman theatre. If its remains are still not visible today, you will certainly feel the special atmosphere of the place. Please note that we are talking about the Roman theatre and not the arenas of Frejus, which are one kilometre away. Fireworks from the sea

With friends to go out in the Var, enjoy the summer season and admire the fireworks. Usually drawn in July and August every Friday, it is an opportunity to observe this symphony of colors. The sun, the vineyards, the good wine, all the ingredients are gathered for a pleasant day of cutting in the Var. There are so many beautiful areas in the department that it is impossible to make an exhaustive list. To help you with your choice, we've identified two:

  • The Clos des Roses in Frejus: the name itself seems romantic! Come and taste the wine, admire the pretty chapel. For an exceptional meal, book a table and have a nice time. The food and wine are delicious.
