The Lac de Sainte Croix in the Verdon, located near our Tikayan campsite, is a lake formed by the impoundment of water from the Verdon dam.

All the lakes in the Verdon are now at their usual tourist filling level, so you won't be short of water this year!

You can enjoy all kinds of activities. The water sports centres are open and offer canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, pedalos, water trekking, water skiing and electric boat hire (no licence required).
There are also numerous hiking trails around the lake and many typical villages to visit.

Take part in this unforgettable event for lovers of sport and culture.
The passage of the Olympic flame is a festive and convivial moment that will make our beautiful French landscapes shine.
 
The Olympic flame will begin its journey in France on May 8th, in Marseille, after crossing the Mediterranean Sea from Athens. The torch relay will then move on to several towns in the Var region, including Toulon, Hyères and Saint-Raphaël. Along the way, the flame will highlight France's natural heritage, including the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region, in particular the sites of Manosque, the Verdon regional nature park and the beautiful village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie.
