The iconic Saint-Tropez
Both an artists’ village and a favourite of the jet set

Saint Tropez is one of the most famous villages on the Côte d’Azur (French Riviera) thanks to its lively nightlife, celebrities and famous beaches, like Pampelonne. You can stroll around the harbour, admiring the beautiful yachts, enjoy an ice cream or lunch in one of the many restaurants before enjoying the cool alleyways of old Saint Tropez, its luxury shops and art galleries, or discover the famous Place des Lices. There are also several museums retracing the history of this walled town, such as the Annonciade Museum or the National Maritime Museum. In the former police station, made famous in the film ‘The Troops of Saint Tropez’, you can visit a new museum dedicated to the history of the police and cinema in St Tropez. Visit the 16th century citadel overlooking the village, the Portalet tower, the Vieille tower and the Church of the Assumption.
